Poem on Humanity...

This poem fetched me 3rd prize in a competition in our school :-)

தலைப்பு: மறைந்து வரும் மனிதநேயமும் இறுகிவரும் இதயங்களும்!!!

பனி நிறைந்த மலைகளிலும், கண்ணிவெடி நிறைந்த நிலங்களிலும்!
வீரர் பலரின் சொர்க்கபயணம், நமக்கு நூற்றாண்டின் இனிய பயணம்!!
மாக்கள் இரத்தம் ருசித்து பழகிய மனிதனின், மக்கள் இரத்த ஆசையின் நிறைவோ?
மருத்துவமனையில் வெடி வைத்து மனமகிழ்ச்சி அடையும் மனிதநேயம்!!


முல்லைக்கு தேர் தந்தவனும், புறாவிற்கு தசை தந்தவனும்..
மூச்சிழந்து பெருந் தூக்கம் தூங்குவது மனிதநேய நிறைவுடனோ?!
மனிதன் இன்று அடையும் பௌர்ணமி இன்பம் - நாளை
முதல் தேய்ப்பிறையை, தொடர்ந்து அம்மாவாசை என்பதின் முன்னெச்சரிக்கயோ?!


குணம் படைத்தவன் வேதனைப்படுகிறான் பணத்தின் தேடலால்
பணம் படைத்தவன் வேதனைப்படுகிறான் நிம்மதியின் தேவையால்!!
இரவில் சூரியனோ குணமும் பணமும் ஒருவரிடம் சேர்வது?!


இதயம் இடம்மாறி நடந்த திருமணங்கள், குணம் மாறி
பணம் இடம்மாறி நடக்கும் திருமணம் ஆகிவிட்டது


நிம்மதியைப் போதை பொருள்களில் தேடுகிறான் மனிதன்
திறமையைக் குண்டு வைப்பதில் தேற்றுகிறான் மனிதன்
தன்மானத்தை தலைகளைச் சாய்ப்பதில் நிலைநிருத்துகிறான் மனிதன்
மனிதநேயத்தை ஆழ்கடலில் மூழ்கடித்துவிட்டான் மனிதன்!


எதுகை மோனையும் நயம்பட பாடினான் மனிதநேயத்தை பாரதி
எடுத்துக்காட்டாக நினைக்காமல் பத்திரப்படுத்தினோம் அலமாரியில் புத்தகமாக
முற்செடியில் ரோஜா வளர்வது முற்செடிக்கு சிறப்பு சான்றோர் கூற்று
மனித ரோஜாவிடம் ஆணவ, ஆதிக்க, சுயநல முட்கள் முளைப்பது சிறப்போ?


மாறுமோ இந்தநிலை? மாற்றம் தான் கொண்டுவர முடியுமோ??
எத்தனையோ விடைத்தெரியாத கேள்விக்குறிகள் அவற்றில் இவையும் சில?!

Title: Crumbling Humanity & Hardening Hearts!!!

In snow filled mountains & land mines filled field!
With brave soldiers funeral journey, we are sailing happily in the new millennium!!
After tasting animal bloods, is it people's dream to taste human blood?
Now humanity is feeling happy planting bombs in hospitals.

Here lived the people who gave chariot to jasmine & gave his own flesh for pigeon..
Did they sleeping permanently as they are satisfied with humanity?!
Today's full moon's brightness may be a warning that starting tomorrow
it's going to be decline & subsequently new moon day with full of dark.

Good Human is worrying in search of money
People with money is worrying in need of peace!!
Is it like seeing sun in Night that same person have both money & humanity?!

Marriages which happened by exchanging hearts lost its property
Now marriages happening by exchanging money...

People searching peacefulness through drugs
People improving their talents by planting bombs
People establishing self-dominance by killing people
People buried the humanity well under the ocean.

Bharathiyar sang about humanity rhythmically
Instead of using it we safeguarded in cupboard
It's great to have a rose in a thorn tree but
Does having Egoism, Dominance & selfishness prickles is good to humanity rose?

Will this state change? Is it possible to bring a change??
These are few questions among the whole lot of questions to which we don't know the answers?!
